    PROJECT DIRECTOR

    VIRGINIA TECH

    LaDale is a historian at Virginia Tech, one of the co-creators of Mapping Inequality on redlining and the Home Owners’ Loan Corporation, and author of the book Building the Ivory Tower: Universities and Metropolitan Development in the Twentieth Century.

    NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY

    Ben is a PhD student in History at Northwestern. He has contributed to projects for the National Archives, American Historical Association, Norton & Company, WETA-TV, and the Pritzker Military Museum and Library. He works for a federal contractor on housing policy.

  • Jonathan Petters

    VT LIBRARIES

    Assistant Director of Data Management and Curation Services. Jonathan provides research data management planning, training, and curation support to researchers across Virginia Tech through the University Libraries.

  • Max Oickle

    Max is an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech studying Geography and GIS. As part of the mapping team, he works on finding the location of racial covenants and keeping the web maps updated.

  • Imma Mwanja

    VT LIBRARIES

    Imma is the Geospatial Data Curator at Virginia Tech. She has a background in Urban and Regional Planning with a major focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She uses her GIS expertise to provide geospatial data support to researchers, faculty, staff, students and the Virginia Tech community in general through the University Libraries.
